What “verified” means here

In sample #736, the Poisson second-moment identity yields a rate of 2. The requested upper tail is then 1 − 5e⁻² = 0.3233235838, selecting C.

A separate recurrence calculation rebuilds the masses for 0, 1, and 2 and reaches the same tail. The result also selects the official answer letter. The manual prints both the derivation and the compact audit record.
