Preserve the official reference number, rebuild the setup from the source, vary one condition, and run an independent check. The number 718 describes active locators in the current source set; it is not a completion quota or a count of live-exam patterns.
Coverage arithmetic
The ActuaryProof public manifest covers slots 1 through736. Deleted numbers remain visible as deletions so later references continue to point to the same official locator.

If an old checklist contains a deleted number, mark it deleted. Do not shift every later number upward or reuse the locator for a new problem. Stable identifiers are what keep notes, official answer keys, and independent explanations aligned.

Four-state ledger
A familiar answer is weak evidence. A method that survives a changed boundary, parameter, or requested variable is stronger.

A practical sampling rule
Begin with the current syllabus topic index. Select a small set that tests one unresolved decision, such as the support of a transformed variable or the covariance term in a sum. Stop when you can reconstruct, vary, and check the method twice on different inputs. Then move to the next unresolved decision.
This prevents a large source set from becoming a mechanical march through numbers. It also makes a later review defensible: the ledger shows which decision was tested and what evidence closed it.
Optional independent answer layer
The Probability Proof Manual follows the718 active locators with independently written solutions and one original variant per locator. It does not reproduce official question wording. Its current version contains 3,108pages.
